Photographic/artistic process and interests
Drawn to topics of social and public interest, János Buck tends to work on longtermprojects. An extensive research and examination of aesthetic characteristics are part of the artistic approach. As the goal is not primarily to provide straightforward information, the ambition is rather to open new perspectives and to allow process to happen. A blend of photographic genres and the presenting as an installation is a charakterstic part of his work.

Available for assignments requiring characteristic style and visual passion.

Biography
János Buck began studying photography at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences in 2010, which he completed in 2015 with a bachelor‘s degree. In 2019 he completed the master‘s degree in Photography Studies & Practice at the Folkwang UdK in Essen. His works have been shown as part of numerous group exhibitions, publications and art events. In addition to his own work, his commitment also includes the supervision, conception and organization of various art projects. He lives and works in Cologne.
